Cycle around the Cape Point area on a bicycle tour – taking you around the most beautiful areas of Cape Town. Exercise and sightsee at the same time on this stunning day trip with Jenman Safaris.
We follow the Atlantic coast past Clifton, Camps Bay & Llandudno, to the fishing village of Hout Bay. Here you have the option if doing a 1/2 hour scenic boat ride to Duiker Island to experience thousands of Cape Fur Seals in their natural habitat. (not included in cost). Then it’s over Chapman’s Peak to Simonstown where we meet up with a colony of the rare African Penguins at Boulders Beach. On arrival at the Cape Of Good Hope Nature Reserve we swop four wheels for two in the form of bicycles to get some fresh air into our lungs and build up an appetite for the picnic lunch which will be served somewhere in the reserve….maybe on one of the stunning beaches, pack your swimsuit if you are brave enough to challenge the Atlantic Ocean! After lunch we hike up to the lighthouse at Cape Point for breathtaking vistas before returning home via Scarborough and Kommetjie. After all the fresh air and exercise you are guaranteed a good nights sleep!
