NEW: Zimbabwe website, brochure and PARTY!
We are extremely passionate about Zimbabwe which you may have gathered by now... and because of this our product manager, Kirsty, and our marketing assistant, Sarah, have been secretly hard at work - working on a brand new Zimbabwe Brochure and an exciting new Zimbabwe website. We unfortunately can't share much more with you except it's "all coming soon"! The official launch will be on the 6th of May at INDABA at our launch party. Otherwise watch out for our next newsletter where we will share the website address with you and give you details on how you can receive a copy of our new Zimbabwe Brochure.
In the meantime below is a sneak peak of Zimbabwe logo and the official name of this new division!

Travel around Africa with Blessed - one of our most requested & popular guides!
Blessed, if you don't know him, is one of our most popular safari guides - he is passionate about Africa and loves being out in the bush with nature and, of course, our clients. You can normally find Blessed running lots of our Botswana tours (he knows Botswana like the back of his hand!)... And with loads of our returning clients always requesting him as a guide (no matter where in Africa he is travelling to) we decided to feature a multi-country safari that he will be guiding in September (28th).

We even had a client recently contact us saying: "Please let me know when Blessed's next tour is this year - my husband and I had such a great time in Botswana last year that we would like to travel with him again, Thanks, Jules"
This is not his next tour, but this is his next tour that has a few seats left - 3 to be exact! The tour is our Northern Experience Safari which includes Cape Town, Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe. One of the great aspects of this tour is that it can be made a responsible safari by adding on some option extras (such as helping the rhino anti-poaching unit in Zimbabwe, educating tribes in Namibia about fire-safety and getting involved in project Earth Child in Cape Town!)... Blessed will be the guide, you will be travelling in one of our brand new 12-seater 4x4 Isuzus the whole way.... your clients are guaranteed to have a fantastic time!
Please note that this tour will be running with a maximum of 12 clients for this departure only.

Jenman Safaris is a teenager!
Jenman Safaris has just become a teenager... What? Yes! We have just turned the official big 13!
It may have begun 18 years ago in Zimbabwe when Garth (the managing director of Jenman Safaris) started guiding walking safaris with only one vehicle in the lower Zambezi, Mana Pools... but, it's officially been 13 years since Garth moved Jenman Safaris down into South Africa and registered the company there. Since then we have expanded into 14 different companies, employed more staff and earned a strong reputation as one of the leading tour operators in Southern Africa, East Africa and Madagascar.
So, it's no surprise that we are celebrating with a bang this year... 13 years and going strong!
"Happy Birthday Jenman Safaris and Garth!"

Meet Liz - Our Dramatic 'tree'
Liz started at Jenman Safaris just over 6 months ago as a senior sales consultant and within a few months, she was promoted to Assistant Groups Manager where you can currently find her juggling emails, bookings, requests & schedules... and all with a smile on her face! When Liz isn't hard at work you can find her outdoors relaxing on one of Cape Towns' beautiful beaches, walking around Kirstenbosch or spending time in the Winelands especially in Stellenbosch as she says the wine tastings there are exceptional (she was very persistent that we MUST mention something about the wine there...?)!
Even though Liz has travelled extensively through Africa her next stop (well dream for now) is Zanzibar. She is convinced that sitting on a stunning white beach surrounded by crystal clear blue water with a cocktail (not wine???) in her hand is the perfect paradise! We think so too!
Unfortunately Liz can't join the Jenman Safaris musical band but, she can provide some entertainment in the background by expertly playing a very convincing tree! This is what Liz had to say: "I spent three years at drama school, so when I wasn't dancing about or pretending to be a tree I was having intense classes in how to fall over without hurting yourself... this comes in handy after the wine tours..." Now its makes sense why we had to mention the wine earlier on....
